Program Notes

The two-movement piece "Brush (in open air) (in resin)" is inspired by accumulated sound memories—from nature, from bodies, from song—that arrive, dissolve, and are continually filtered. Sounds are stretched into longer moments, moving between intimate textures and hearing a larger soundscape evolve. These sounds blur between clarity and distance, suspended with transparency and presence.
